About the Conference

In collaboration with the Texas Flash Flood Coalition, the Cockrell School of Engineering of the University of Texas at Austin is seeking to work with partners on research to build the next generation of flood management technology for improved Flood Warning and Emergency Management and for Flood Modeling and Mapping using the Central Texas area as a case study to show feasibility of these technologies.  We held a conference on May 27, 2010 to discuss potential solutions and partnerships. You can find the presentations here.
